Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Prayer Pause ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Prayer Pause is a mobile application that provides:

• Islamic prayer time calculations based on your location
• Qibla (direction of Makkah) compass functionality
• Optional focus features including app blocking during prayer times
• Mindful interventions (dhikr, Quran reading, quizzes, timers)
• Prayer tracking and streak features
• Widgets and notifications for prayer reminders
• Optional premium features via subscription

User Accounts

Prayer Pause does not require you to create an account. The App stores your preferences and data locally on your device.

If you enable iCloud Sync, your settings and prayer data will be synced across your devices using your Apple iCloud account. This sync is governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

Subscriptions and Payments

Prayer Pause offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.

• Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy

We do not collect or store any payment information.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Prayer Pause only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App or any part of it

Intellectual Property

Prayer Pause and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Prayer Pause and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimers

Prayer Pause is a tool to assist with prayer scheduling and is not a substitute for Islamic knowledge or guidance from qualified scholars.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prayer Pause and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Providing notice through the App where appropriate

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
